Terms of Service

Turkan Abla is a marketplace connecting clients with independent beauty and wellness businesses. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.

When you book, you enter into an arrangement directly with the business providing the service. Prices, availability, deposit and cancellation terms are set by each business and shown before you confirm. Please arrive on time and follow the business's stated policies.

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the services they provide, and compliance with applicable laws and licensing. The platform is free to join and use. Customers pay exactly the price a business lists - no booking fee is added at checkout. Businesses pay a monthly charge for each additional team member they add, and may buy prepaid SMS credits; email notifications are free. Where a booking originates from the Turkan Abla marketplace, a commission is deducted from the business's payout: 12% of that customer's first online booking with the business and 6% of subsequent bookings. Bookings taken through a business's own booking link or website widget, and appointments paid in cash or in person, carry no commission. Payouts are made via our payment provider.

Businesses located in Turkey pay a flat monthly membership fee instead of commission. The membership covers the marketplace listing, included staff logins and booking email notifications; their listing is visible only while the membership is active. Online card payment is not available for businesses in Turkey - customers pay the business directly at the venue.

Optional paid promotion: placing a special offer on the public offers page costs a per-listing fee for a 7-day run, with an optional additional fee to feature it; paid placement is always labelled. Businesses may also pay per send to email the Turkan Abla mailing list. Every campaign is reviewed by the platform before sending, is delivered only to members who have not opted out, and payment of the fee does not guarantee approval - rejected campaigns are refunded. Vouchers purchased from a special offer are valid for 90 days from purchase unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Where a service is paid online, refunds and cancellations are handled according to the business's policy and applicable consumer law.

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by submitting false information, infringing others' rights, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

Turkan Abla provides the platform "as is" and is not a party to the service provided by a business. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of businesses or clients. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
